Man it's hot here!

Sounds like Etna, NH is the place to be. We just drove back from MA which was raining in the 60's and today it's 90 in MI in the shade.....I'm in the banzai waterslide with the kids and still sweating like a dog.
AND, the wife wants to live next to her family in Ohio so we just some land there....while I can hear my 80 acres on a mountain in Western WA calling me....(no humidity) but I guess that's a whole other story!

We had 98 degrees an hour ago with a heat index of 103. Then 45 minutes ago, the wind picked up, clouds appeared, thunder followed, then barely enough sprinkles to see the spots on the pavement, but it dropped the temperature to 84 in about 15 or 20 minutes. We now have a forecast for a 10% chance of showers.

Just North of Austin it hit 105-degrees and more of the same for tomorrow.. by the weekend it should cool off to 100.. Gosh, I can hardly wait.. lol

Wow...I spent 4 lovely years at Fort Hood, and don't remember it getting that hot! Course, that was a few years ago...like 23.....

Yesterday was pretty toasty around 90... today is a little better mid 80's. If there was no humidity it would be quite comfortable. Lake Michigan tends to act like an air conditioner most of the time, its usually about 5 degrees warmer once you get about 10 - 15 miles inland.
