3 grand? Heck, I should go into business making a variety of fender sizes along with mounting brackets, all for far LESS!
Yeah, probably. The steerable type adds more to the price. At the end of each season I keep saying to myself ”If I have any money left over, I’m buying steerable fenders for the Kubotas”.
Then for some reason, a perfectly timed college tuition bill always seems to show up in the mail…..

Sounds like you need to become acquainted with a local fab shop. My guess they can make up something for a fraction of that cost.
Yeah, well acquainted with local fab shops, they live off local farmers. Nothing they are real interested in doing since plastic is involved.
I have been looking at dismantled/burned tractors on the tractor house website, but most burned tractors have the plastic fenders melted. The steerable brackets look pretty usable though

Yep to all the above. Just priced them out for my M9 cab. 3 grand every day. Have to be steerable or they hit the sheet metal when turning. Been perusing TH for a salvage set as well. In reality, blowing out a windshield or lower glass isn't cheap either and I'm on dirt and gravel most of the time. Should have got them when I bought it. K&M sells them (in their catalog) but not sure if they will fit or not.

I can probably fab the brackets in the shop and buy the plastic fenders if I wasn't so busy all the time. Nothing fancy and they mount to the upper king pin carrier on each side of the front axle.

That picture under the wires looks like my driving range!

Slow down or spend the money. The choice is yours.
Slow down? In farming? Surely you jest.
If you aren’t going like your hair is on fire, in farming, you’ll make a lot less money. In farming, speed is almost at the top of the list.

Stopping to clean windshields takes time, too.

Even my 20 year old Magnum has fenders.

Our Canadian neighbors up north can get fenders on the L40 and L60 series tractors, but I was not able to find a way to actually buy them. Apparently there is an "Arctic" tractor version that comes with fenders, but it may also be a Canadian or dealer specific thing. It's been a few years since I looked into it though.

I don't get too far when I think about fabricating my own steering fenders... Looks like a lot of work. I may mount large mud flaps to the frame since most of my issue is roading the tractor while plowing in the winter (straight run driving at speed).

I tried for years to get the black plastic rear fender extensions for my M series tractors. they look like they would help a lot with mud from back tires, but not available in the USA. I see them on larger European Kubotas. Even tried buying them from a dealer in Ireland lol.

I tried the same thing, no dice. My M9 Cab unit happens to have the 'Arctic package on it but alas, no fender extensions or fenders. Came with everything else when I ordered it new in 2003 and took delivery in 2004.

I just happen to also mow a utility right of way. Mono poles however.
