no problem getting up to speed.

20% wheel slip you'll NEVER notice, in a tractor in a feild you wont even notice 60%.........except for th efact youre only getting 40% of youre stuff done lol

after it came back from the shop the third time it runs 25mph where it ran 18mph before :dizzy:

they're going to come to the farm and test the machine at the end of the week, so we'll see what happens

Here's my two cents on this issue. The Toolcat monitors both axle speeds whenever the machine is moving, through a separate speed sensor mounted on each axle. If it sees any discrepancy in speeds between the axles, it will stop driving the axles and set a code. It is very touchy about speed differences and can set this code very quickly, in less than a second in my experience. So that tells me that if your 5600 is able to run down the road with the axles turning different speeds, it is very likely to be an issue with the speed sensor circuit in one of the axles. The controller must think both axles are turning the same speed or else it would stop the whole thing and set that code.

Whichever axle you believe is turning faster would be the first one I would investigate the speed sensor and wiring on, a bad sensor or poor wiring would be more likely to drop some of the pulses from a sensor than to create more pulses than sensed by the actual speed sensor.

You might also check all the wiring connectors which were touched by the dealer on the last service, check each individual wire in the connectors to make sure they are locked into the connector, sometimes the lock that holds the wire in comes loose and allows the wire to back out of the connector, creating an intermittent connection. You can do this pretty quickly by grabbing each wire independently and pulling on it, it should not come out of the connector housing. If it does, bend the little lock tab out a bit and re-insert it into the connector, making sure it is fully seated and locked in.
