mahindra landscape rake

I was looking on the internet today for a landscape rake for my three-point hitch, and I found that Mahindra lists one on their website. I went by the local Mahindra dealer and he said that they didn't make one, but he had one for about $1,300. The Mahindra brand on the website said $474.00, I think for a six-footer.

Has anybody used one of theirs? I know their tractors seem to be pretty much no-nonsense, heavy-duty tractors, but I don't know about their implements.

All I want to do is to pick up small rocks and limbs and brush-type trash left over from clearing some brushy land, get it up off the ground, and make the place look a little bit cleaner and nicer.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

$1300 for a landscape rake sounds like alot.

Landscape rakes really aren't a high-tech implement in my opinion. Every company that makes them basically makes them the same. (for the most part). The only thing i can think of that would raise the price would be if it had guide wheels on it.

I never used a Mahindra rake, but I have a 72 inch King Kutter from Tractor Supply, and have no complaints, other than the crappy paint job. I think that was around $400 bucks. I can't remember. But it does a good job doing the things you're looking to do.

I believe Mahindra rakes come from Kodiak which in my opinion is like buy the cheap ones from Tractor supply..Is it a problem? only you can make that decision.
You get what you pay for.
If I was buying I would want a boxed frame where the tines mount not a piece of angle iron.
