mahindra 3510
i'm really tired of hitching up... my back isn't what it used to be and i'd really love to find an easier way.

in a discussion this morning, my neighbor suggested a quik connect? for changing out the implements... where can i get one for a mahindra 3510? are they worth the money? he only knew of one guy that has one, and that fellow really likes it.

what do you guys say?

YES, they are worth it, I bought mind from Mahindra when I had the fel installed after I had my tractor for 3+ years, its easy to use after hitching up a few times, and I glad I got it, I think it was an extra $350 but that was with the package, not sure how much just by itself, good luck.

I just knew I didn't want to hassle with changing from Bush Hog to rake, and back. Pat's Easy Change has been well worth the money.

I use one of the 3-pt hitch quick connects and it is GREAT. I had to modify the toplink part but now I just back up to the implement pull up the hitch and then attach the toplink by hand. VERY easy and quick.

i looked at the link and i'm interested in those. the factory is not too awfully far away from me i see.

anyway, i went up to the barn to see if everthing will work with it, and my only question is about the finish mower i use. the connection points on the mower deck are forked and the ball fits between the forks to be pinned.

similar to this one... ceptin mine is 6 feet and another brand, but they hook up alike...

Phoenix M48-S Tractor Finish Mower 48", PTO driven, 3 Point Hitch, Rear Discharge, Solid Tires

will it work or will i have to make alterations?

thanks..

Now, are you talking about the front end loader, or the 3-point???

3 pt...

my apologies if i wasn't clear... i used to want to take the FEL off, but i find that its just too handy to have around, so i don't even think about it nowadays.

i'm not a full time farmer/rancher, so i don't log a lot of tractor hours. this time of year though, i'm trying to beat the weeds back and i switch from finish mower to bush hog fairly often. i'm just not that good at it, and with my back getting worse, its a struggle sometimes.

i'm game for this quick connect unit if it will work on the finish mower... it looks like it will, but i want to make sure. i have a garage full of stuff that looked good in the ads, but didn't come thru when actually applied to my situation.
