Machine Builders Network ??

It really burns my @$$ up to put a lot of time in a project and posting it for it to be lost forever.I'm not as out to do long term projects anymore and post them in online forums.I have been slowly moving some of my projects over to blogspot so I have total control over my posts. It helps to have a documented project in case of future problems that need to be fixed. Some of my projects are listed in my sig line below.

Frankly, I didn't start my thread there just for documenting the build process. As I recall, there was a lot of encouragement and educational dialog outside the scope of simply documenting the build. There was a very good, supportive crowd there with a good working knowledge of most things mechanical and hydraulic. Sad to find that Matt hasn't had the time to bring it back up to the same level after the "upgrade".

As a matter of fact, to archive the build thread, I used the print function to create a PDF file of the whole thread using a free pdf generator for storage on my own computer for reference later. In addition, I have over two hundred digital images of the build process and several minutes of video of operation also archived on my computer(s) with redundant copies on 3 different hard drives ( a happy consequence of my dynamic work history lately).
