for those MXX40 hyd shuttle owners. had my hyd shuttle cable replaced around 600 hrs due to sticking & not being able to fully engage forward/reverse motion.

currently 825 hrs, no prob. access to cable is complicated (dropping fuel tank, ect) & had dealer do it. anyone out there have any advice on how to access the cable for lube on either end? sure wish the cable had a oil nipple or zerk to lubricate. the tractor is covered most of the time. think the answer is no, but thought i'd ask anyway, regards

Basically, it's an aluminum outer body with a rubber inside body and you clamp it on the end of the cable and use motorcycle chain lube in a pressurized can (with the straw) to inject it into the cable. I use it on a lot of different cables as one size fits all. Works on tach cables too.
