i have a 7040sud that brakes are not to bad im have cp on my left side an only 34 id say go with the 8540 for the hydro brakes hydro brake are 10x mech in my book i like my 7040 i use it for logging and grading i knock 12'' trees down no problemi have 48 hrs on mine 50 hr seri soon
