If the pump is not gone then the bypassing has to be around the front loader controls. I unhooked the backhoe connects and switched to 3 point hitch. Like the front loader it will not lift unless I idle it up, and as I ran it it was getting worse as it heated up. I cycled the front auxiliary buttons too. Where are the releif valves and bypasses? The steering and hst seem normal. Also when cycling the loader it would lift faster if I dumped bucket at same time. Just out of curiosity where are the pumps? Is one behind fuel filter and the other where the 2 filters are underneath?

Lets back up a step. Are you sure you have those three controls right around the joystick all on the right settings. Any of them could do that.

Right next to the joystick there's one control with a yellow and white wheel symbol used for sending fluid back to the BH/3pt hitch lever at the rear of the tractor. There's a control for the front remotes + a lockout for that control And then there is a sort of unfortunately placed lever on the forward part of the joystick for the bucket autolevel circuit.
I say "unfortunately placed" because once I hit that with my right foot backing up and I must have kicked it into half engagement or some other weird mode and the front loader arms quit working.

The white and yellow lever is my pto engagement.

The white and yellow lever is my pto engagement.

Rightt....Duh...well that makes sense. It has to be somewhere. I don't use the PTO on mine and was confused when my notes said it "sent power to the rear of the tractor".

Still, what about the others? In particular that one that does the auto bucket level. Worth a double check.

It's dropped off. They said no sooner than 2 weeks.

No sooner than 2 weeks. I guess I didnt realize how good I have it. I had one of mine in and it need a part from japan it only took 6 days.
We had a major work on the combine and it didnt take a week and the dealer was swamped and flat rate was about 30hrs on it.

I wish you the best and hope they look at it sooner so if it needs parts you will still have it back in a better turn around than 2 weeks I also hope it turns out to be something simple.

TWO WEEKS?!

They need a few more mechanics! Up here they'd have it in the shop in a day or so, especially if the machine is down like that.

Alright, it's coming home! Made a couple of calls today and will be picking it up tomorrow and bringing it home, wednesday baxla tractors out of georgetown oh will be sending a mobil truck to me to get started. Said if it's really bad it might have to go up there but they can use my shop here.

Last November my partner and I went to central equipment in lex and I bought this and he bought a mini excavotar. Was talking to him today while I loading his machined up he's letting me borrow, and he told me his rescent dealings with them. He dropped his machine off to get the 50hr service and 1 month later it still hadn't been touched. He had to have it so he went and got it. With no eye contact they told me 2 weeks before they could start on it. Central equipment in Lexington. They won't even bat an eye tomorrow when I come and get it. I promise my mini x won't be bought there. But enough with being mad at them for not even caring about my situation.

It's a big place, Deere and kubota. Lots of bays for mowers.

Update to thread. Dealer sent mobile mechanic down and looked it over and was pretty sure pumps are out. No flow, low pressure. before we drag it to their shop called kubota just to make sure there was no history of problems on these models. Kubota said they have had to replace pumps on early models. Both pumps. My unit is an early 08 model that sat on lot til I bought it last November. So maybe they had to update the pumps, not sure. So off to dealer tomorrow.

This is concerning news to me.. How do you determine the production date? Mine is out of warranty I cant even imagine how much it cost to replace these pumps..

/ M59 hydraulics got slow and weak. #34
Good question. Must be somewhere we can check the production date based on the Serial Number.

Mine has already been in the shop twice for hydraulic probelms with less than 100hrs easy hours on the clock. I am at 200 now and things have been running good but... Guess I just worry too much

I'm approaching 300 hours with no problems except breaking the top off of the loader joystick (replaced under warranty). I'm concerned because I would think it is from about the same build time as yours.

What kind of hydro problems?

Tractor was only weeks old when I noticed the FEL Curl boom was leaking by severly the Rep came out and looked at expecting it to be a slow/normal leak down observed how bad it was and told my dealer to repair it. Approximately 6 months later the main B/H boom would not retract the backhoe far enough back to engage the lock. Went back to dealer to replace that cylinder as well.

While those things are no fun ,atleast
It's not internal major failures. I have researched to n'th for failures of pumps on the m59 but found nothing.

Ok, back from taking machine to dealer. I talked to the guy who talked with kubota. He said they had a few that had to have both pumps replaced. Not a rash of them. But still yet why would both pumps go out on some units. They seem very willing to just replace pumps, no hassle. There was also some mention of a broken suction line at the inlet in the sump on some but didn't get too much info. They also had a m59 sitting, sitting so long the fenders are faded bad, the rubber floor Matt is sunburned. He said kubota will replace all faded metal and rubber Mat. And as of now they are fixing my machine, working up a price for me to to trade mine for the brand new one and pricing an extended warranty for mine. Not sure I want another 08. If it was an 09 or 10 I might.
You know kubota introduced this machine in 08 right when the construction market crashed so I suspect a lot of these units are sitting. Would love to know how many of these units out there are sold and racking up hard hours to construction companies. Most sold now are to rich hobby guys, not that there is any problem with that but I get no comparison to how these will hold up to my extended dig time, numerous 10' ditches in rocky soil in 90 degree temps. I put about 500hrs a year digging and it's mostly in summer. I really like this thing and can't afford another full sized machine yet so fingers are crossed.
