M59 3rd Function Valve

   / M59 3rd Function Valve #11
Just beware of aftermarket 3rd valve setups may not handle or provide for the M59 flow.

Bought a Kubota 3rd valve kit for the B26. Was going to install as a winter project. That fall bought a M59 and bought another 3rd valve kit. Similar to the B26 except everything bigger. Studied the instructions, not hard but would take me at least a day to install. Went to the dealer to buy filters and oil for M59 and they were having 10% off parts/labor and free pickup/delivery winter special. They could do the filters and HST oil change for what I could buy the parts and oil for. Asked about installing the 3rd valve labor? $100. Same for the B26 and put ballast in the rear tires. So that is the way I went. Had to cleanup the wiring to the joysticks to suit me but money well spent.

With the combination of hard and flexible lines, wiring, valves, clean install and reasonable price it’s hard to beat Kubota 3rd valve kits. They have both worked flawlessly since.

When you get into hydraulics mechanics you soon will need some specialty tooling like various line wrenches. $$$$fast.

In the process now of making a chain, tools, chainsaw holder and some ground defense plates for the M59 hydraulics. IMG_1371.JPG
