M59 3rd Function Valve

I bought a used M59 (only 130 hours), but it doesn't have the 3rd function valve. I absolutley want this and the 16 GPM it provides. I have chased down the kit part number to do this - has anyone tried installing it, or should I let the dealer handle it?

If its anything like the one on the B26 it took me about 2.5 hrs and the instructions where very good. Just follow the instructions and don't jump ahead as there is reasons to the steps are numbered

I bought mine with the 3rd function, but at casual glance it doesn't look that complex.

So after you installed it what can you do with it?
I had Considered a broom.

Thanks for the responses:
- On the M59 the kit costs $1000 and it requires replacing the FEL joystick, and there are a lot of parts. That doesn't bother me, I have done a lot of assembly work and have a good collection of tools.
- On the B26 - is that anything like the B2630 or is it a different beast?
- What can you do with the 3rd Function Valve - run a snowblower, sweeper, L/R control on a snowplow - and many other skid steer tools requiring hydraulics

what I use mine for: 4n1 bucket, hydraulic PHD, grapple, Harley Rake. And am happy to have all of them.

Basically, you can now run a lot of skid steer stuff, depending on flow - M59 has average skid steer flow (not the bumped up).

Things I might add one day that would use it - snowplow, hydraulic snowblower.

The B26 is a commercial duty machine, suited to landscapers and contractors.
The 2630 more of a homeowner / small acreage owner machine.

The dealer installed mine, so I don't know how hard it was. Generally I prefer to do this sort of thing myself. I think I remember that one of the kubota dealers on this site had posted some of the installation manuals for add-on parts for the M59. Made for interesting reading. They are very step-by-step and complete.

I have a 4n1 bucket from Kubota, hydraulic posthole digger but it needs more gpm to run it faster and in the process of building a grapple and front blade to backfill behind our little trencher. I have also been considering a side shift forklift carriage.
Winter is rough as I have way to much steel laying around and think of hair ball ideas to build in my spare time.

I just picked up a m59 and I am wanting to install a third function valve. I have had no luck finding a third party that makes one. Looks like Kubota is the only one that makes one for this model. I plan on installing it myself. I have read several post on this forum that says someone has posted installation sheets but I can't seem to find any. Anyone know of a third party that makes them?
