TYM also builds some of the Zetor models too...SR

Are you sure? Zetor prides itself for using czech & german parts only, the czech machine industry is quite health & capable

I have tractor experience, mostly with older equipment and recently bought my first tractor( I do own a few excavators and rent many types of construction equipment) and it was a used 2014 60 hp TYM. My impressions so far are that it is a strongly built tractor with good capabilities and came with a bunch of nice features for 1/3 the cost of an equivalent JD or Kubota.

It reminds me of a standard 4wd heavy duty work truck- all the work stuff without the luxury. I feel like with oil and filter changes and regular greasing, it will be doin work for many years- and it has a Perkins diesel engine, used worldwide for decades in commercial applications.

I just wish it wasn't turning pink.

Wouldn't it be great if we actually knew what the sales figures for each market segment was per manufacture? Say under 60 horsepower with an alphabetical list of how many units were sold per year.? Then another list of each actual country of origin and percentage of parts by country of origin. Then we could settle a lot of these arguments by actual facts instead of pulling figures out of our *** holes?

As it is, I have no idea who sells more of what. Only vague ideas based on advertising that I see on TV.*

*When Private Joker was asked if he had seen any combat? he replied "I have seen a little on TV!"

It would be a real job to put together who made each tractor sold. The engine comes from this company, the transmission from another, the sheet metal, the hyd., the FEL, etc. And who put it together. And just because one factory is making the one model today, does not mean they will make it next year. So the sales on one model may go to more than one company that made it.
Most are good companies, but I have worked for a good company that was making a lot of profit. I was still purchased and closed. The people buying it did not want the competition.

I would love to see any info you have that says it isn't true??

I'm not the one making the claim about TYM and TYM badged tractors selling more CUTs in the US than Deere.

Well, you seem to be disputing it.. So, I thought maybe you have something to show that it isn't true...

I love tractors in general, so I it's an interesting question...

I honestly don't know who sells the most, but TYM sure does build a lot of under 60hp tractors, so I'd sure say it's possible.
