I just visited a couple dealers....did NOT like the Kioti dealer and he is farther away.....If that i my dealer, I don't want one....
The LS dealer was great....I am really leaning toward the LS (XR4145)....then I saw he also has the TYMs. I had to really get moving as I had work to do so I couldn't check them out to in depth.....
What do you all think of the TYM tractors.......and if you were to choose between the 2?

This tractor buying thing is pretty involved.....LOTS of choices to make

I'll use it on a 50 acre farm for horses....mowing 20 acres and keeping woods cleaned up, trails, food plot, etc.

THANKS

LS makes many of the smaller New Holland tractors. The XR series has a good reputation.

TYM has a lot of tractors in the US market, but most don't have their name on them. TYM builds about 60% of the Mahindras that are sold in the U.S. They also make the RK tractors sold at Rural King, which at last report were somewhere around 6th in the US market in sales. I think you would find the 45-55 hp TYM to be a good fit for you as well. A friend had a 2012 TYM (50 hp I think??) that never gave any trouble. He traded it last year for a larger Kioti cab tractor. I have a couple of friends that have bought RKs, but neither has enough hours on them to make any judgment about reliability. They seem well thought out and well put together though.

I would say take a close look at both. Compare the features included with both. Does one offer more standard features? I don't think you would go wrong either way.

Kioti and LS are thriving, off a small base. Branson and TYM are hanging on to a minuscule base.

Not sure where you're your info about TYM and Branson. TYM (Tong Yang Moolsan) makes the TYM brand, many Mahindra models, the RK brand, and the Branson brand through their acquisition of Kukje Machinery. TYM is actually the second largest manufacturer of under-60HP tractors sold in the US behind Kubota BECAUSE their tractors are sold under multiple brands. That's hardly a miniscule base.

He posted that in 2017, maybe the numbers were different then? Not sure.

So TYM sells more CUTs in the US than John Deere?
