Mowing lower 3ph without mower going down?

I'm a new owner (with the bank) of a BX2200. Is it possible to lower the 3ph with a box blade without the mid-mount mower going down also?

I think I asked that backwards. Can you lower the mower with out lowering the 3ph?

Raise the deck to its highest position then turn the cutting height control knob to "TOP". It will still go down -- but not much. If you need more ground clearance you can set the guage wheels to the lowest hole.

No, Ozark John, you cannot. You could fix a chain to hold up the rear 3 point but on the BX they are operated together by the same lever. I usually remove the mower deck when using rear implements. Besides all that weight on my lawn area when mowing just compacts my soil worse than it is already. J
