I have a 5 year old Aurora portable diesel generator, # AGI16500DE. It has an 11 HP, 186F type, single cylinder, 3600 rpm, diesel engine.

The oil pressure sensor is leaking. I tried tightening it but that didn't work. Can anyone tell me if this sensor is an off-the-shelf item? I found this Amazon.com: Standard Motor Products MC1804 Oil Pressure Gauge Switch: Automotive on Amazon, but have no idea if it would work.

Here is a picture of the leaking sensor.

Thanks.

Have you tried removing it and putting teflon tape on it?

No, It's not leaking from the threads. It is coming from the seal between the black part and the ring.

The manual says it is a 15PSI sensor, but I can't find any info on PSI ratings on Amazon.
