Hello,
I just picked up a small flatbed that a guy built decades ago. He used mobile home axles on it which seem to have a 5 x 5.5 pattern which also incorporates a 7.00 x 14.5 tire size. What I'm wanting to do is to put automotive or trailer rims on it so I can put wider tires on it. My question is, will any 5 x 5.5 fit? I know that I'll have to do some measuring to get the correct offset.
Thanks.

Check center hole size, too.

A wheel with a 5 on 5.5” pattern is a common Scouts, Ford and Jeep used it to name a few, but there are likely many more.

Some like the Scouts had a larger center hole vs say the 70s and 80s F150 due to the Scout using and external hub vs the F150s stronger internal hub.

I'm pretty sure my '14 Ram 1500 was a 5 on 5-1/2.

A wheel with positive offset will allow using spacers to get zero offset I'm guessing the current wheels have. Then again, I wouldn't spend much money on mobile home axles.

Suzuki samurai used that bolt pattern but used a larger center hole than dodge.
