The no start problems I had with mine were:
1. Battery cable terminal not being tight. Simple fix!
2. Glow plugs wouldn't work because the ring terminal electrical connection at the glow plugs being open.
A call to the dealer I bought it at told me what to check over the phone.
Finding a tractor dealer with good customer service has really helped me out.

Haven't had any other problems besides the no starts in 11 years. I know this can be frustrating as it happens without warning.

On our 3616 the start problem( click click click) that I had was due to the voltage drop across all the connections and safety switches that didn’t leave enough to pull in the start solenoid. I added an auxiliary relay to the start circuit. Now if all the safeties are ok when the key is turned, the new relay energizes and the relay turns on the start solenoid. $7 in parts. Took me 6 months to track it down as it would work great then stop, then work great again.

I don't know what the OP's non start symptoms are, but I have added starter relays on my (3) Kubota ZD mowers over the years with excellent and long lasting results. It's a simple modification that should be OEM wiring from the factory.

I feel very sorry for the OP. There should be better consumer laws to protect the buyers and these types of issues. If a problem cannot be fixed in a certain amount of time, I would say 7 days, a very same, or better replacement should be mandatory for the full amount of time the equipment is down. Every problem has a solution, it needs to be arrived at much, much quicker ! No excuses allowed, just results !

i said - and now specific: in 24 -spring of 25 it was down for 11 months out of 12. late spring of 25 until winter of 25 it worked and then just before the last storm no start yet again. i did not feel the exact dates and times was so necessary for my point and problem. WTF!

Well dumb dumb, your first post was dated Jan 2026 and 11 months out 12 being down didn't specify which months.
Could have been Feb 2025-Dec 2025.
Next time buy a quality tractor.

I would really consider a metal shed to park the tractor inside, My pontoon, Airstream and tractor all have dedicated sheds to live in. It's not just the wet East TN winters that ruin things, it's also the sun.

One of my tractors is a 2011 Mahindra 3016 made by Mitsubishi I have had zero problems with it. I also have JD, MF and a CAT, those have had several problems but nothing that I could not fix. Mechanical things will have some problems at times, fix it and move on. His problems are dealers in his area or lack thereof. It has nothing to do with his tractor being less than a quality tractor.
