Hi Folks,


I need a lawn mower

Looking at JD and other brands and I dont really know the nomenclature. I own a Kubota 5740 for big stuff but i need an easily trailerable rider for small stuff. Never gonna need an implement. Not interested in zero turn, maybe hydro drive and the highest hp they have diesel if possible

any ideas???

i know to stay away from the depot machines

Take a look at the John Deere X700 series, you can get diesel, gas, all wheel drive, 2 wheel drive, 4 wheel steer, 2 wheel steer, all with hydro drive.

For the money the BX Kubota's are really nice machines. You also get a usable 3pt hitch if you need to do some small work where the 5740 won't fit well.
We have a BX25 with the mower and I am really impressed with how well it mows.
