Hello Everyone,
I apologize that I haven't taken enough time to research this myself, but I am in the middle of a property offer that has the option of including a tractor.
I don't know a thing about tractors, but always wanted one.
I am in negotiations for a 7 acre parcel of Avocado Trees. It is on hilly, but not steep terrain.
The owner of the property had a Jonh Deere 870 tractor that I can include in the deal.
Here is what I know about it
4x4
front end loader and hydraulics
rear "gannon box"
rear hydraulics that can move the box up and down and level it (I think)
rear PTO wood chipper (not sure of make but was told it cost $4000
140 hours and in like new condition.
My question is what would be a fair value for this tractor, and
second, what are my options for a backhoe attachment ?
Sorry to throw this out there when I could probably spend a few hours and come up with some comps, but I am going nuts trying to make this deal and need to come back with a counter offer very soon.
Thanks, Lance
