Looking at CC 2146, good model

I'm looking at a CC 2146 with a 14 up linamar motor with 200 hrs. Seems like a decent machine but would like some opinions from guys with more experiance tham me. It's a 2000 year model. Thank you for the replys!

what do they want for it? im pretty sure thats just a beefy lawn tractor. ive seen a bunch of 2186s for good prices near me and theyre pretty nice machines.

too much, imho... that's an onan engine in that machine - a good design - but now difficult/expensive to find parts or replacement engine as onan is long gone. Dunno about chances of re-powering with another engine make.
yeah, it's a lawn tractor on steroids with shaft drive, serviceable tranny, etc... but small deck/tires and big turn radius.
For 800 bucks, 10 yrs old, it had better be in pristine condition...

I didn't know linamar was part of Onan. Very good point about parts. I may just pass on it.
