Looking at a trailer

I have a buddy that has a 2000 year model, 12'(inside) heavy duty trailer for sale. It has a diamond steel floor, 5' steel sides, two way rear door, 5 new tires and new brakes on both axles. It is in excellent condition.

What do ya'll think it should sell for???

Depending on the construction I would think $1200.00 to $1500.00

Haven't seen much like that among our TBN ranks TBAR. Most of us have plain flatbed trailers for our tractors. You might try a landscape site to get better feedback /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

TBAR, That looks like a land scapers delight and the high sides will make it pretty secure,A good bit of steel and time to build that trailer so IMO its probably worth $1700-$1800.
It probably cost more to build that trailer than my 16' full diamond plate Heavy duty trailer ,just because of the man hours in the cage work.
I paid $2200 for my trailer but it was exactly what I wanted /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Friend of mine says high end (slightly used) tandem axle trailers with electric brakes run about $150. a foot. The added features of that trailer would be hard to put a price on.

What is the asking price? Or is that what you are trying to establish? Very nice looking rig.

Well crap.......................I messed around too long and he sold it to someone else.

He had it up for sale and sold it for $1500.00. He offered to sell it to me for $1000.00. Yes...............$1k.

I should have bought it but I have two trailers already.
