I'm new to the purchasing-new-from-a-dealer world and have noted a few folks mention loaners from dealers while they wait for their new machine. Is this something you negotiated when purchasing the tractor, they offer up as a courtesy, or other?

Spring has come much earlier than normal here in the Northeast US which gets me thinking of projects to take care of now that the woods and roads are dried out... but my new 4520 won't be here until the end of May.... I'm not in business, and the projects can likely wait (though grading the road would be very nice... someone drove in the mile I upkeep and rutted it up.. after moving the town-provided "Road Closed" sign and barrel out of the way...all to make their hike shorter!), but I'm half tempted to ask but have no clue what the protocol for such things typically is....

Thanks!

I'd like to think a good dealer would make the offer for a loaner. However in pclassens case his purchase is got to be close to $85k so his dealer is jumping through hoops. The other member is running a business so a loaner is badly needed. Us CUT guys are usually that high in the food chain.
