The loader on my 2014 NX4510 is stuck in the float mode. The Joystick will sit in the same position leaning forward as when you push forward but it will move to lift the loader but the loader won't go back down. I took the joystick assembly apart and cables are intact. Figured it might be a valve frozen but it's been above zero the last 2 days and I let it run today for 45 minutes. Anyone have any ideas ? Thanks

If joystick is stuck in the float mode, pop apart the two cables from the barrel nuts atop of the joystick valve itself and adjust the cables to take the slack out. Leave a smidge of slack in so the cables and joystick are not trying to exercise the actual valves when the joystick is in the neutral position.

I had the same thing happening in my curl function as the valve slowly stretched enough that my hand started hitting the door handle when I was “aggressively” shaking the curl function to get dirt dirt out from stumps and the like.

You will fight paint on the barrel nuts: be aware that the two Allen bolts that hold a small plate (the keeper) to the joystick valve itself are an independent parts from the cable barrels, but may look like a single part of the cable barrel because of paint.

Also, you do not need to remove the joystick itself when adjusting the cable nuts but a loosening the joystick itself and using a zip tie to keep the barrel keepers and barrels up out of the way can help.

Anyway, liken the process to adjusting a clutch cable, so to take up cable slack, the cable nut must be spun to make the cable housing slightly longer.
