Hallelujah I think it's fixed it stayed in this position for hours.

Took the cylinders back to the shop, the guy said he could see some damage to the seal in the middle. Also said he did some measuring and used a slightly different larger seal? No charge for the work the second time.

Personally I think they didn't measure/ use the correct seal the first time. My impression is that New Holland parts are less common or an odd size compared to others.

Regardless, the guy made it right as best he could.

My question now is:
My tractor takes some odd hydraulic fluid (Ambri multi-g).
Was it necessary to remove the oil the shop used in the cylinder for testing so that I wouldn't contaminate mine with a different oil? Or is two cylinders worth not enough to worry about? Actually I guess it would be 4 or 6 cylinders worth at this point... IMG_7746.JPG
