Tractor is 20 years old, I've owned it for 18 years came with filled rear tires. For a few years, i occasionally see Beet Juice weeping from the bead, have been unable to add air because the valves were fouled up and wouldn't take air. So today I finally got around to replacing the valve on both rear tires. Watched a few youtube vids on this, bought a bead breaker. It went good for a while, till rear bead let go and beet juice flowed down the driveway.

Broke bead to get backside of valve. Bead on back of wheel let go and just about all of the beet juice leaked out.

Wheels had some surface rust, so while i had them off, did some rust removal, prime and painted them with the Dark Grey thats on the newer Case backhoes, skidsteers and wheel loaders

@ditzel: about how long did this process take you?
I have the right rear on my Mahindra 2645Cab weeping; i think it is coming out the valve stem, which I heard happens as the beet juice interacts with the rubber gasket material used on the metal valve stems.

I can't think of the magic words to search for, but there is a valve stem that you can insert from the "outside" and no need to break the bead ... Maybe someone will chime in with the brand ... Or I'll remember!

Took me a few hours, but that's because I cleaned up, primed and painted the rims.

You should be able to remove the outer portion of the valve stem and just replace that.

I noticed around the bead of my tire, that I am assuming it is my plumbing antifreeze is weeping out. Not dripping out, just a weep. Enough to cause a slight bulge at the bottom of the tire from it sitting. Managed to get it into the garage last night, but that's as far as I got. Have the valve stem at the top of the tire, going to top up with air and hope the problem fixes itself. Was hoping it was just because of the temperature changes recently. One can hope.
