LK3054 wiring

Hey all. Just thought I would say hi and see if some of you folks could give me a little help with a wiring problem. Let me first start off by saying I picked up a LK3054 with a blown engine. I've got a new engine installed but am having a little trouble with the wiring.

Does anyone know how the wiring from the alternator and starter should go. I also have two leads with quick connectors near the headlights that I can't figure out where they are supposed to go.

Thanks for the diagrams. I've got a few more questions.

What post does the positive battery cable connect to on the starter? What post does the fusable like connect to?

On the alternator there is a small external cylinder that has a broken wire. What should that wire connect to?

According to the diagram, the battery and fusible link both go to the same post (should be marked "B") as far as I read it anyway. I don't have the machine handy to answer your other question. Perhaps you can give one of the dealers (like Rick Wallace) who post on this forum a call to discuss.

Your right about the fusable like and battery cable on the same post. My new crate engine fired right up after about 10 seconds of cranking.

Spoke to my brother about your "cylinder". He says that is a noise suppressing condenser and that you should connect it to the power post (B) along with the battery & fusible link.
