Few weekends ago, we were supposed to be working on my buddy's new house but a few people showed up, a few drinks were drank, and brilliant minds went into motion.

He built his house in a rather wet and low field and hasn't got to putting any fill in yet so this spring it was a little muddy.

Thanks, the song is "The Truck Got Stuck" by Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans, formerly know as The Corb Lund Band.

They have some great tunes and I would describe them as more of a rockabilly, folksy type band then "country".

I enjoy some good $X$ action, but those fools were just out to tear up their used to be good trucks. Now they get to spend their money on repairs, Especially the one that gets to put in an engine. Ramming into the rear of vehicle to get is unstuck is just plain stupid.

They were old junk trucks that will never see the road again (and wouldn't have). They just needed too many reapirs and were to rusty or whatever to have ever been worth putting on the road again. That Ford didn't even have reverse. The other black truck which got swamped a few times is owned for the purpose of off roading and getting stuck.

These boys have fun and do a nice job documenting their "work"! Keep in mind, the lack of sunlight (and beer) way up north makes us do wierd things. And I'm not as north as these guys.

Nicely done folks! Nobody lays on their deathbed with a grin on their face thinking back on how good of care they took of their trucks,... but they just might chuckle over that day in the mud! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
