Lighten pedal pressure

Greetings!

Newbie here...

I wonder if there is a way to adjust the pedal pressure, especially on the forward pedal, because my right knee is killing me from having to constantly having to apply relatively large amount of pressure to the forward pedal when mowing with the belly mower.
Due to not very even ground I can't use the "cruise control" lever to set a constant speed, because I have to adjust the forward speed almost all of the time.

If the pedals are brought back to neutral with springs, you could put in lighter springs.

I checked. No spring.



I'll check the setup and see if it is the spring(s) and replace them.
