Least favourite implements to attach

I have the Euro hooks on my lift arms, I find them very convenient.
I also have the "claw" quick hook on my hydraulic top link.

I use the standard factory arrangement, not any sort of quick hitch. I suppose when I get older I may need to get something, but at age 84 I've not seen any need yet.

I did build dollies 10 years or so ago so I can move the implements around to line them up more easily, and fit more into limited storage space.

having extending lower arms & hyd top link are useful as well
My problem isn't with the arms or top link. That's easy peasy.
It's getting between the wheels and implement to attack the pto shaft.
I'm 5'11", or used to be , but my arms are too short to reach all the way over.
Not all implements, but the mower is the big pain with it's frame to allow it to side shift.

Of all the implements I attach to my tractor, this one is absolutely my least favourite! Getting in there to attach PTO shaft and adjust the top-link is not easy, with the limited space and projecting "things" - like top-link sliding tommy bar, mounting plate for the spray valves, windscreen-washer bottle mounting plate, and of course the PTO guard where the shaft emerges from the tractor makes for some contortionist skills in getting it hooked up.

In comparison, the box blade is a doddle, also chipper and slasher, and the air-blast sprayer's not too bad either. I'm guessing the spray tank manufacturers elected to keep the heavy unit (600 litre capacity) as far forward as possible for weight reasons, also to keep the 6 metre spray boom from being too far back behind the tractor.

That said, it's a nicely made spray unit, and the saving grace is that I don't need to use it very often.

The handle in the foreground belongs to the pallet jack, as all my implements are stored in the shed on the concrete floor, and having them all on pallets is so handy.

It can be tight. But really like the sprayer.
So it appears the pump is mounted on the frame of the sprayer. My pump slides on the PTO shaft so I can slide my pump on before I hook it up. Also mine has a quick hitch, which sits the implement back about 4 inches. That makes a huge difference. And lastly, take that PTO guard off and throw in in the scrap metal bin. That's an interesting looking sprayer. Never seen one of those. BTW, with a QH and a hydraulic top link most of your problems go away.

I just saw you are an Aussie. That explains the sprayer.
You can go buy one tomorrow if you want to. They are not specific to Australia.

6' Rhino brush cutter.

The worst implement to mount in my opinion is side mounted disc mowers. The hitch is never level they are tippy, and when you lift the lower lift pin the whole unit want to lift, not just the one side.

Yep, I was going to say the same thing. Every year I dread hooking mine up.
