Does anyone make an HST tractor with at least 50 PTO h.p. and AT LEAST least 17 g.p.m. auxiliary hydraulic systems?

I don't need a tractor for plowing or heavy pulling. I need a 'tool carrier' to operate different attachments

I had a late 70's IH 2500b that was HST and 50PTO HP, 4 cylinder gas engine, but they made diesel models and AG models that are still around. Mine was construction equipment; a tractor loader, that is, a front end loader with a 3PT hitch.

I don't think that you will be able to find a 50 PTO hp with 17 GPM at the remotes and HST tractor. I many be wrong.
The MF 1560 doesn't have a HST but it does have a Dyna-QPS. It is basically a PowerShuttle and full PowerShift. You don't have to clutch to change gears or to change directions. If my next tractor is a compact it will have this transmission. The GPM at the remotes is 12.8.

Without starting a firestorm about racism, hurting anyone's feelings, etc. any idea where that tractor is actually built?

The 5400, 6400, 7400, 8400 series MF's are all built in Beauvais, France. The Dynashift ( older ) transmissions are a joint venture between MF & Renault, and are basically built next door in the GIMA Plant. Now I am not sure if the new Dyna 4 & 6 transmissions are built in France, or are shipped out of Germany, since they are a reprogrammed Fendt Vario Transmission.

What you are describing is not a tractor. It's a skidsteer loader. You won't find a better "tool carrier" than a skid steer loader.

Ya, The Kubota M59 is going to be the closest you will find in a HST. Plenty of hydraulic flow, but a little bit short on PTO HP at 46hp. The kicker with the M59 is that it is a construction unit and is pretty expensive. If i remember right they are around $55k.

I am doing a side-by-side test drive this week of the Kubota L5740 vs.
the JD 4720. Very similar machines, similar weight, HST, etc. NH has
no 55hp tractor with HST, so it is out.

The impl hyd flow on the JD is better, but it is 12GPM. 17.1GPM is the total
flow incl power steering. The implement flow on the Kub is only 9.8. Both
quote PTO hp at 50.

I think JINMAN is correct....you need a skidsteer for real hyd flow much
higher. Or an industrial TLB as AKFISH says.

Amazingly, the prices are close, too. I have no Kub/JD prejudices here.
Anyone else make this comparison?

I just did the same comparison - you might want to see my thread in the Kubota forum:

Thx for pointing that out. It is exactly what I am looking for.

I'm not sure of the age but i remember late 70's/early 80's the "IH HYDRO 84" they were a flop but a few were around i never used one but i presume it was a IH844 with a hydro...?
They were worth nothing quite new...?
