So back at it today with a little JD-450J
Made clean up a breeze. I really liked this 16,000LB machine.
While you push logs around like match sticks and level the ground, the metal tracks just pulverize vines, sticks and rotted wood into mulch.

I know people sport wood over skid steer loaders, but aint nothin like a dozer.
They make the work seem effortless and comfortable.

This one has a 36" mouth and would eat whatever was put in it and had 500+ HP. It took the guys 3 days to cut/chip 1800 evergreens and clean up with the Hydro-ax. Whatever chips I didn't want left in piles the hydro-ax spread and beat into the ground. A feller-buncher cut and piled for the 60 ton chipper.
