On uneven ground, is it a problem that it's rigid on the 3-point, ie doesn't follow the contours? Or does that make it grade better? Nice design!

The geometery of the 3PH holds the grader so it cuts off the tops of the high points and deposits them in the low points. If you want it to follow the contours, just disconnect the toplink.

It is finally done and painted. I used it on my driveway which is 3/4" reclaim and it worked perfect.

Looks great.

Another hint for using it that I discovered on mine:

If you want a crown, or are backfilling a trench, a length of heavy chain attached out at each end of the front blade, and just long enough so the middle of the length of chain just touches the front of the rear blade will help force the material that goes over the front blade into the middle. I used this to backfill a few hundred feet of irigation pipe trench, and it worked pretty well. The front blade cut the mounds on either side of the trench level with the grade, and the material either fell back into the trench, or went over the blade, only to be "encouraged" toward the middle by the dragging "V" of heavy chain. I was thinking of welding on some hooks just ahead of the front blade to make adding a chain for this use easier.

sounds like a great idea, will have to try that. Do you think it would work better by stretching the chain diagonally from front corner to the back corner?

That should work also, as long as the chain gets down to the ground level.
