Looking at getting a 5740 cab does that fit in an 8 foot overhead door
with R4 tires on it the book says 94.7 with the ag and i hope it is alittle
smaller with r4s i have about 94.25 to the rubber seal any help would be great

I don't have a cab but you should be ok with R 1's as they are a little smaller and you can run them soft which will give you at least another inch.

My 4240 with R1s just barely clears the opening of the smaller of my garage doors. It's exactly 8' with a 1/2" weatherstripping. If I drive through the opening the rubber flap on the weatherstripping gets folded over. I would say it's got to clear by 1/4" so 95 1/4". Kubota's site says the height is 94.4 so I think it's going to be real close.

Mine fits in a 8 ft door - I wanna think the actual height was about 92 " ? Have to check it again - But I think I still had about 4-5 " left?

thanks for info do u like 5740 how is that snowblower work for deep snow and drifts

IMO Nothing compares to it for drifting snow. I can get drifts around 5 - 6 ft from a inch of snow fall when the wind kicks up. My driveway is cut in a hill which makes it a pain to deal with at times. I will try and get the exact tractor height measurements tonight and get back to you.

Sorry it took so long, I measured it and the height was between 91 & 92 inches. I could not get an exact because I did not have a second set of hands. I fell that is pretty close though.

Thanks alot it is nice to know that it will fit my garage all the dealers by me have them still on the crate so i couldn't find one to measure thanks again
