It is a guy thing, whenever I can't find something it is usually right in front of me or like my mom would always say if it was a snake it would have bit you:laughing:Rick

That's exactly what my mom used to say.

Thanks again. I'd still be scouring the net if you hadn't spotted that.

Apparently all the other L48 owners saw that label!!

These levers are similar to what was on my old B21 but they do not exist on the B26 Carl. My advice would be to put some anti-sieze or lubricant on all of the moving parts associated with adding and removing the backhoe. I never had mine off my B21 until a mechanical repair required it to be removed by the dealer. In less than three years those levers had siezed up and they had to get the torches out to free everything up. Perhaps the L48 has a better system, but a little lube won't hurt.

Well, I did it. It came off easy enough. Put the Squealer on and cleared all the under growth away. Reinstalling was a little troublesome but that was due to somebody parking a trailer next to the hoe at an awkward angle making it difficult to line everything up. I'm glad those instructions were handy

I know this thread is old but it's still a great resource. Here's the instruction label from my backhoe.
