I bought it! It has a few small oil leaks and it's not new but it runs great, shifts fine and the tires are in goodshape. The best part? After running it around in the dirt for a few minutes and working the 4x4 lever up and down it started working. I didn't tell them that and I made a big deal about the oil leaks.
$8480 OTD and they're going to deliver it!

That's fricking awesome!!!!! You applied what I call the KISS principle. Keep It Simple Stupid. Their ignorance is your bliss!!!!! Good steal!!!!!! Only thing I see it lacking is QA bucket. You can convert that fairly easy. Especially if you buy the FEL QA head. Then build the bracketry on the bucket.

Awesome!!!! Good job!!!!

Thanks for your help guys. I'll probably be back for more advice in the near future. I'm tickled pink! Oh and the seat is lose, I talked them into fixing that before they deliver it.

I figured as much - the 4x4 was likely bound up from tension. I could jump up and down on the 4x4 lever on my L4200 without it popping if its bound up. Rolling on dirt, however, it slides in and out like buttah. Nice rig and nice score, BTW.

When you get it home, check all the fluids, test the anti freeze, grease all the fittings (especially on loader), change the hydraulic filter, and check the air pressure in the tires. If you didn't get a manual, get an owners manual and service manual on ebay or elsewhere ($15-$20).

Then just run that Glide Shift through the gears - Smooooooooooth! Print out a hard copy picture of your new baby so you can explain that $h**eatin grin on your face.

PS: I think putting a fire extinguisher on the ROPS is a good investment.
