WOW! Blast from the past! I must have posted these pics here before. They are available here when I go to advanced reply... Anyway I split this Ford 5000 back in 2003 to replace the clutch. I bought it and used it for half a day to back fill the foundation for my house before the clutch took a crap. Had to load it onto the trailer with the hoe, that was SCARY!

I bought my 3910fwd little over a year ago. I had to split it for a clutch. It also had an oil leak in the bell housing. I assumed it was the crankshaft seal, replaced it. Put the tractor back together and it continued to drip oil. Tore it back apart and put the transmission seals in it. So I got pretty good at it. Built a stand on wheels for the front half.
That's a great idea Richard. I'll keep that in mind, I also remember to replace all the seals that could be leaking if I'm ever in that situation. You don't happen to live close to Lansing, MI do ya? LOL!
