For the last 16 years I have used a 60" belly mower on two different B models. current is a 2910.. I am looking at a cab and found the B3030 small. Has anyone tried the 72' belly mower on the L3430 with turf tires? My dealer tells me that this mower will not extend past these tires and that might be a problem. Also, any comments on the weight of an L3430 on rough lawn that is mostly dry. Thanks.
I am using my L3130 with R4's on dry sandy soil and they do not mark up the land under the grass. I don't have a finish mower just a Bush Hog although I plan to add a 72" RFM ( may go 84" but have not decided). With turf tires you should not have a problem.
This may or may not help. I have an L3010 with a mid-mount mower and turf tires. I don't have any problems with the weight of the tractor and the mower is wider than the width of the rear wheels. I would be really surprised if the L3430 was that much wider than the L3010 unless they are using those super wide Galaxy tires.
