Kubota l2250
I have a chance to buy a 2wd l2250 with a tiller and box blade for $3000.00. I am looking for info on this tractor. Is it a good price? are parts easy to get? how big of a bush hog will it take? are there any problems to look for on this tractor. How does it compare in physical size to the john deere 790? I am going to look at it tomorrow. Thanks for the help. Randy

The L2250 is a great tractor! I had a 1985 "4wd" version and was very impressed with it. It is built like a small ag tractor and is very capable.
I think 3K is a very good price if it runs well and is in good working order. Try and check all the major stuff, engine, 3 pt hyd etc. Also check for leaks etc.
Does it have a FEL? Does it have power steering? How many hours?
I would not put more than a 4' bush hog on it for heavy stuff and a 5' for light mowing.
The guy who bought mine was replacing a JD 790 and was unimpressed.
Mine did smoke a little until it warmed up. A block heater really helped in the winter time.
Good luck and let us know how it looked. Pics would be great.
Here is my old one.(attachment)
By the way I like it so much I bought a new M4900.
