I have a 2017 l s xg3037 that has been flawless since new. I just started having an issue with starting, when the key is turned to the glow plug position, I get nothing. The glow plug lamp doesn't come on and the fuel lift pump does not come on. After setting foe a bit with the key on the glow plug lamp comes on and the lift pump will start clicking. At this point it starts up and will run all day, Iam leaning towards a faulty relay.... any thoughts?

Consider having your battery load tested if it's original 5 year old battery? Might not be enough voltage to power up glow plugs right away?

If the battery is good it could be loose or corroded connections at the battery. Follow the ground lead to the frame and check there, too. From there you can try continuity testing on the various positions on the ignition switch.
