i am looking at a kx41-3 mini ex with 4850 hours it is a 2009 model. just wondering if that is about the life of that machine. comes plumbed for a hammer, the tracks are tore up around edges and should be replaced they want 9500$ for it. would prolly use it 25 hours a month or so. dont want to spend 25000 on something but dont want to be working on it every time i go to use it

Theres two factors, age with all the rubber parts and hours for the mechanicals. I have a 1960's diesel tractor that runs great, long ago he hour meter broke. Don't really care. For you, rubber degradation should not be too bad so if it starts easily and does not smoke too much that sounds like a pretty good price. I recently bought a 1995 KX 41 and it runs gread, 3,000 hrs and I paid about the same with exchange rates.
