pretty cool story. my father passed away when I was twenty. I am really jealous when I hear stories like this. May we all pass away having just taken a spin with our son.

is that safe? the side seat thing? I know a certain organization that would crap bricks about that...

I was kinda confused by bx24's responce until I read it. I thought some guy passed and left this to his son, and you were jelous that you didnt get one. Funny how much things can mean out of context...

Sold for $12,000. Is that a good price in the US?
It's considerably decent.

You guys are in the winter months now, no?

Officially we are 4 days into winter. (June, July, August). But its been T-shirt weather up til now. Only lit the fire for the first time last week. And we're getting some rain at last. Summer and autumn were virtually bone dry. Most of Australia is on water restrictions.

It's very dry in the US also. Some places more than others. I live in the southeastern part of the US and it's dust dry here. Grass has stopped growing already and that usually doesn't happen until mid August.

You are getting into the weather I like. I like summer but I'd much rather work in the cooler months to enjoy not being so hot. The humidity here is what makes it tough.

Take care.....

Humidity is never a problem here. Our skies are almost too clear. Even if we do have a downpour the ground can dry out and be dust again in a day or two. In summer, autumn or spring you can cross this state from top to bottom or east to west without ever crossing water, and this state is over a million square kilometers. (Texas is 'only' about 700,000). We only have one river that contains water all year round, and even that would be dry now if it didnt have half a dozen weirs across it.
Sometimes I look at maps of the US and can't believe how many rivers and lakes you have - even in the middle of the continent! I'm very envious.

These boys from here in Texas only think they are large... LOL...:D

I could not imagine not being around water or a lake. I have lived on a lake all of my life. We drop the boat in almost every afternoon to ski for an hour or two then back to the house.

Have a great winter season there, as summer is upon us here in the US, officially in just a few more weeks.
