That's a neat grapple you got you mind sharing the cost I just got into a jam trying to demo a pool. The problem was picking up the pieces

Shoot!! It seems you have to spend money EVERYTIME you wanna do a chore I wonder how many guys have made their own diverter valve from say tractor supply for half of the kubota price

You will find there is always an implement out there you don't have.

Many have built there own 3rd functions. This is a great thread:

Ok if you were gonna buy a grapple which one would you buy? Some have the bucket on the bottom some have a double grapple arm I'm trying to see which would be more beneficial

That is almost like asking what oil to use. Never ending opinions and options. Generally a light weight narrow L bottom grapple gets the most votes.

Every grapple owner has their own favorite grapple.. But in general, you need to decide what you would use the grapple for the most, as there are several different designs that do some things better than others. I am very pleased with my Everything attachments grapple, but it is a bit small for your size tractor, but they make larger ones for your machine. The Everything Attachments grapples have hi tensile strength steel in them so that they can remain relatively lightweight yet still have great strength.

I resisted getting a grapple for years in spite of the fact we have close to 200 acres in woods, but James k0ua and ovrszd finally wore me down and I'm embarrassed to say how right they were and how wrong I was. I used forks for years and thought they were fine, man a grapple is great. It did hurt to drop the money on one, but money well spent.

I had a third function put on my 5740, but my brother ran all the lines on our M8540 to run off the rear remote and saved a lot of money. I'm sure some day I'll get a diverter or third function, but that's in the future a ways.

Ok so it's cheaper to run rear remotes than a third function? I'm looking at about 1000 bucks just for the kit I'm told
