Tractor
CASE 430, AND CASE 440 BACKHOE
I'm thinking of trading a guy my case 440-H backhoe for a l185. Is this a good tractor? It has a kubota loader and a boxblade on the rear. I'm not sure of the hours but it looks to be in real good shape, but needs a hood, and the tires are weather cracked.
My gas powered backhoe hasn't ran in about 10 years and has a rear tire that is flat and is in desprate need of a paint job.
I plan on using the tractor around the house and grading my dirt road till I get some road millings, then I will need to spread and grade that.
What do you guys think?

The L185 is a rugged little tractor that will always be handy around your place. The loader is a big plus - many didn't have them and they are hard to find. You may miss the weight of the 440 for remodeling a driveway.

I'm thinking it will do ok as long as I take my time. If it dosn't do well at that he said I could use his oliver with a hoe and loader to do it if I wanted to, Its about 50 hp.
