CE\TLB units have their own, some are electronicly encoded.

You need a wiring diagram and it should be contained within the WSM
(Work Shop Manual ) I kicked and moaned and groaned as well not wanting
to spend the money for one but once I did it I realized I was a fool for not
obtaining it sooner.

While we sell many WSM's, we'll always share the pertinate sections with people who are working on somthing. If you call 877-260-3528 and ask for Les he will hook you up.

Our B3030HSDC cab model ues a B key for the ignition and an L key for the door locks-had to go back to get one.

Well it works !!! No error message on start up and the cruise works good. My tractor had two red w/white wires instead of one red and one orange. The pic you sent got the odds down to 50/50 and I was feeling lucky. Thanks again

Ok I am a bit mixed up here (sorry English not my first language ).

I have a L4740 and my son just lost one of my keys today, are the keys to my tractor unique to it or do you mean that all L series only have 1 model that fits all, i.e. I would just need to get a replacement key from my dealer?

Danc-your English is fine!You read it correctly-go to the dealer and ask for a key for your L4740.They will sell you a "L" key.They are not tractor specific for an individual tractor.Good Luck!

My keys have a number on them. If you still have one you could call the dealer and get a key. Messickfarmequ could probably get you one too.

No problem. They could be both red but one looked slightly orange. With the dust boot that covers the connector it's hard to get a good look. If they are both red then they probably are identical and don't matter which way they go in. Either way glad to hear it works fine.
