I am looking for a set of hoses for a kubota B21 with BT751 backhoe, and see a lot of JCB hoses online. It says 3/8 500mm, and i wonder if that would fit on the kubota?
Most NAPA stores can make up hyd hoses. Take off needed hoses, put a tag on it so you know where it goes. Have the hose made and then put the tag from the old hose on the new one.
You can do that but it will cost more than buying hoses on line. You do need to know what to order when you buy online but that's not that difficult.
There's nothing special about Kubota hoses that can't be easily replicated elsewhere.
The hose diameter is usually printed on the hose, along with the bursting strength. You can order the same. Then it's just the hose ends that you need to worry about. And they're likely either NPT or JIC. For each hose size there's one or two common end sizes which you can determine by measuring or sometimes there's markings on the fittings that tell you.
I'll throw this out there since this is for a backhoe, tie a good heavy masons string to the hose before you pull it out so the string follows it, then you can pull the new hose back in with the string. Also if you can do them one at a time, less chance of confusion, ask me how I know...LOL
Be sure to blow air through the new hoses to get all small hose bits from the cutoff saw removed. Be sure to have the ends capped to keep them clean while installing.
