Just test drove a new 1140. Very nice liked hst trans and engine and tranfrormer bed seems more solid built than polaris ranger I tested at same dealer. Polaris tow and bed capacity much more, not sure why.
I am trying to find out if kubota front diff is open or limited slip. Dealer said limited slip but he acted like he wasn't sure. Anyone know for sure?
thanks in advance.

I think sometimes it would be nice if there wasn't a post count.
That way those who get all hung up over numbers would not get bent out of shape.

Don't get me wrong, I love Kubota....but check out the Kawasaki Mule 4010 trans 4x4 and compare it to the 1140 Kubota. You may find the cost of the Kubota is not worth it.

I was just busting your ///// a little bit. Nothing personal intended.

Post count, age, there are a lot of things which can influence one's impressions both positively and negatively. They're just data points. Be proud of your achievements. I'm 50 years old now. I'm proud to have made it this far, and accomplished some things along the way :D

Has anyone ever run 1 of these RTV 1100 or 1140 in say around -20 to -40 temperatures
we are looking at buying XUV 850D from JD or the RTV1100 and 1140 we know that up in Canada there are some oil and gas companies running the Gators with no problems in these temperatures but have not heard anyone talking about the RTV 1100 or RTV 1140 in use by any companies in oil and gas

Well, I have in -10F temps. Of course, you would be wise to use a 40W block heater and transmission heater of some kind in extreme subzero temps.

Are those oil and gas company Gators gas or diesel powered? Diesel engines can be more difficult to start in subzero temps.
