In a bind here. I've got my father- in -laws tractor. Sudden loss of hydraulics. What are the possible probs. Is there a shear pin in the pump or a relief valve that could be causing the problem? Is this a dealer only repair? Is there something I could check first? Any help is appreciated. Thanks ,Pete

How old of a tractor is this and how many hours? Have you checked your hyd fitler and how is your fluid level? Does everything loose hyd power or just one thing?

There is a relief valve down by the differential lock pedal. Could someone have turned it the wrong way? There is a pin in the knob to keep you from going to far (high) but you can lower it enough for you to have almost no hyd power. There is a hyd filter. When was it cleaned or changed last? Check these things and let us know. The user manual shows both the hyd relief valve and the hyd filter location.
