Kioti PTO help needed please

Hi all. I am new here and I have a problem with the pto on my LB1914. it kept disengaging when under a load and now the lever is flopping around and it will not engage at all. there is not any end play in the pto shaft and no leaks. I am thinking it is a broken or bent shifter fork. to repair this will I have to split the tractor or can I access it through the back?

Check what the lever operates. Is there linkage involved or does it connect directly to a shaft protruding from the transmission case?

There very well could be a problem externally.
