Finally after 2 summers & nearly 400 hrs. of having dust blow up in my face from the exhaust I did something about it today. Was a little trickier than the last tractor I had but not to bad.18" of flex pipe ( that's the longest they will sell it here) & 4' of tail pipe.

The writing on the pipe was so I'd know what I wanted when I took it to get bent ( 2" off-set and 4" rise).

I had the tail pipe expanded to fit tight over the flex pipe.

Nice work! Reminds me of the exhaust on a Ford 8N! Tractor makers should offer a stack or your design as an option.

Great job, but for my hay work a fire waiting to happen. I drive over the windrows. I haft to be careful with even the stock exhaust on chaff build up and yes I get tired of the dust being blown of the ground too. Is there a reason you did not go vertical? Just wondering

My old Ferguson had an under the rear axle exhaust. Driving the tractor was a small prblem as the pipe exited just about under the seat and I would suck in some fumes if the wind was wrong. Then there was sitting on the BH....not nice.

I like the front exhaust on my new Mahindra.

Nice job on your pipe !

I work 90 % of the time around my place in the bush and it wouldn't be long before it got bent of knocked off. Also there is no convenient place I can see to bring it up where it wouldn't be interfering with some thing else.
The only draw back so far is I've gone to a bigger pipe and it resonates making the tractor louder :( on my last tractor I maintained the same size pipe right out the back and it made no dif. as far as the sound was concerned. This one is tucked up high and exits just level with bottom of the back axle.

Nice work.

I plan to rework the exhaust on my 3005, but to follow the limb riser and go up over the canopy. Might end up louder, I'm going to come directly off the manifold with no muffler only some minor baffles.

My game plan for after I own all of mine in July '17 is to eliminate the muffler and fab a stack with a Farmall muffler and a rain flap.
