So I jumped over the pressure lock out to engage the clutch on the compressor, then connected the recharge kit and the reading came in low. Added refrigerant but its not easy as the length of the tube is not really long enough to get around all the stuff inthe way and still hold the can upright. Anyway I was able to almost get it to the bottom of the OK range but not really any better...Put it all back to normal and fired up the tractor turned on AC and the clutch engaged and the tractor felt like a refrigerator so success. Now I just need to find a bolt large enought to replace the missing one on the rear bracket.

They make a leak seal product for home ac units…dont know if its ok for tractor systems.

Great news.
Edited to add: I have done hundreds of A/C diagnostic, repair, and conversions on aircraft, autos, and small home units.
I wouldn't use that sealant stuff yet. It's for last ditch, can't find replacement for leaking component use.
I would just keep a can of refrigerant nearby to get through the summer, then, most any A/C shop should be able to locate and repair the leak. Only issue might be if it's in the cab roof area.
Glad you're cool again.
